Testimonials

After 25 years of undiagnosed ADHD, a myriad of misdiagnoses, and all the subsequent obstacles encountered, Dr Thompson is by far the greatest blessing that life has gifted me yet. I am incredibly fortunate to be under his care and in many ways, I feel as though he has saved my life.

Dr Thompson is compassionate, cultured, joyful, and understanding with a strong motivation to ensure that I receive the best clinical outcomes possible. My treatment plan was tailored to fit my needs holistically, and took into consideration my university studies.

The whole experience from diagnosis to completing titration has exceeded expectations. I cannot thank nor recommend Dr Thompson and his supportive team enough. As a future clinician, I aspire to reach the same level of patient centred-care which Dr Thompson provided me.

A fantastic, friendly and interesting psychiatrist who’s experience gave me a very quick diagnosis that has ultimately saved my life

Dr Thompson helped me when I was most vulnerable after falling off my bike. I was lying on the side of the road and he happened to be passing, and whilst other people had called an ambulance, we were told it would be up to five hours.

Doctor T examined me, and discovered that I could loose my arm if I waited that long because of the way it was broken. He attempted to get the ambulance to come more quickly, and had the brilliant idea to call the paramedics from the nearby flower show where I was working. He strapped my arm up and I was given pain relief whilst we waited for ambulance.

He was able to make me laugh even in my agony and I felt very safe with him there. He waited the whole time until the ambulance came, and fought for me to get the best help available.

He called every day while I was in hospital to check that I was OK, and has kept in touch ever since. He gave me physiotherapy advice afterwards, and I would definitely not have the movement in my arm that I have now if he hadn’t given such sage advice. The accident would also have been much more traumatic if he had not been there.

If it wasn't for Doctor T I would have lost my arm, and I'm extremely grateful that he not only saved my arm but also my livelihood, as I work with my hands.
